You might have heard these sentiments a few hundred times already, but you haven’t heard them from me, and you deserve to hear them again.
Somehow just knowing that my ability to savor the experience and feel hugely grateful for it continues long after the moment has passed gives me freedom to let go of that niggling worry and instead savor the experience while it is happening.
Please don’t let your lofty views of success, the glossy sheen of someone else’s life, or the visions in your head of what you thought life would be keep you from acknowledging when you do something right.
