While every day should have some focus on mental health, this day is set aside each year as a day to remind society, from leadership of companies and policy makers to individuals like you and me, to invest in mental health.
After we have a handle on knowing ourselves, that is after starting and never stopping the process of asking, listening, testing, changing and accepting, we're ready to take the next leap and learn to like ourselves.
Who you are defines your story. Who you are, the things that make you the unique person that you are, colors the way you interact with the world, the way you see and perceive every facet of life.
People will try to tell you that overthinking is bad for you, and leads to worry and is a useless exercise which wastes your valuable mental power… And that’s probably true. But ruminating and in-depth processing are also amazing strengths if you just give your brain a little direction.
